One of the people using our services was short listed to be on the Liverpool City Region Fairness and Social Justice Advisory Board. During the selection process in September she had to complete a pitch together with a 30 min interview via Zoom. A successful selection process saw her secure a volunteer post for 2 years with the Board which is also known as FASJAB, the Board covers a lot of areas including women in leadership, disability rights, hate crime and now Domestic abuse! She thought that she would never even be considered!! What an achievement!
Following her success she said: “ I feel so honoured to be part of it and want to represent victims and survivors to ensure they and supportive agencies have their voices heard especially during Covid”
